Summer

The heat rolls in, like the phenix.
Pavement bubbles and steams.
Grass and flowers wilt.
Bugs almost combust in midair.
Shade brings no cooling.
Water boils and evaporate.
Flesh would melt if made contact with sun.
It has been this way since the ozone vanished.
Humans have defiled mother nature.
The future is doomed.
